The Peninsular Counseling Center offers different services from a variety of providers including: psychologists, marriage and family therapists, mediators, and a licensed mental health counselor.

  • Individual Therapy

It offers the opportunity to work alone with a professional on personal issues. This is an opportunity to explore one’s life history, thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental environment. PCC therapists work from different theoretical perspectives to help clients change their negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

  • Family Therapy

It invites family members to work together to make changes. Family therapy includes any person that the client identifies as family. This includes parents, children, siblings or other significant people in the client’s life.

  • Couples Counseling

It provides the opportunity to learn healthy communication between married couples or any couple needing assistance in their intimate relationship. Couples may benefit from learning to improve their communication or may be struggling to overcome difficult life situations.

  • Biofeedback

It allows clients to learn from their body’s reactions. Biofeedback offers the opportunity to utilize a computer screen to help understand and make changes to muscle tension and the body. Biofeedback can be utilized to decrease anxiety, body pain, headaches, and inattentiveness associated with ADHD.
